Fellow Legionnaires,
During our Fall District Conference Forrest Zimmerman talked about the Korean War Veterans Association (KWVA). He is very much interested in getting a Chapter started in Idaho since there is no Chapter here.
Here is the website:http://www.kwva.org/ where there is the Registration Form if you would like to sign up.
Please contact Forrest Zimmerman at:
Ph: (208) 859-5113
Please contact Forrest with any and all questions. He is ready and willing to discuss this with you. Keep in mind you don't necessarily need to have been on the Korean Peninsula to qualify, this is why it is important to contact Forrest with any and all questions.
Thank you for your valuable time and consideration on this matter.

Paid Up for Life Information Effective June 1, 2016

When the new National per capita dues of the American Legion was approved at Baltimore Convention (2015), Resolution #3 (National Convention Sep 2015) stated the Paid Up For Life dues would be revised on June 1, 2016. Attached are the new rates for posts with per capita $48.00 and below which are the majority of the posts. If you desire the $48.01 and above rates, just email  IA@legion.org for a copy. The enclosure also outlines the procedures for applying for a Paid Up For Life. The on-line system has now been updated with the new rates. This information will also be included in the 2016 Administrative Manual and portions on the National website.  If you have any questions on policy and procedures, contact Dave Elmore at delmore@legion.org or phone: 317-630-1376.
